There is good news and there is bad news about my semester coming to an end.

The good news is that my English class grade is "on the way to an 'A'." The bad news is that, after all that work I did on the big 300 point paper, I got 255 (85%) because—get this—I absolutely left out a whole page from it, somehow placing a second copy of the previous page in instead. How stupid is that? The bummer thing is that the grade is non negotiable. Shit, I probably had the essay on a zip disk with me if she would have let me straighten it out.

All my essays have been "A" grade essays, but for one. My in-class work and the midterm were more "B" grade stuff. I guess I don't like being put on the spot. The final I just took I really hope puts me in the final "A" range. Fingers crossing.

So after all this, I came home and went into the studio to make some noise. I actually got a few things scratched out, and some is pretty snappy. Needs a lot of arranging and developing, but it is nice to know my creativity still can visit me. Then that segued into some solo guitar fiddling around that had a few endearing themes. Maybe now that school is out I can get to work in there more.
